Conditions & Concerns

Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis)

Excessive sweating is not a hygiene problem and it is not something you can train yourself out of. For many people the sweating is out of proportion to temperature or activity, and it affects what they wear and where they sit.

What Is Actually Going On

Hyperhidrosis happens when the sweat glands are overactive, most commonly in the underarms, palms, or soles. It is a medical pattern rather than a lifestyle one.

A neurotoxin placed into the affected area can interrupt the signal that tells those glands to produce sweat. Treatment is targeted to the area of concern, and results typically last several months before the treatment is repeated.

The Good Skin Approach

A Plan That Builds Over Time

Some goals are best approached in stages. PlasmFecta® is my three-phase method, combining microchanneling followed by two personalized NeoGen treatments. I will assess whether this approach fits your skin, and talk you through treatment intensity, recovery, and ongoing care.
